| Which clubs or activities are you involved in?
I'm on the Gwynedd volleyball team, U15 Pinnacle Volleyball, Montgomery United Soccer Team, and I’m involved in several Gwynedd Clubs – Gardening Club, Alchemy Club, Art Club, and Tennis Club. Why did you choose to attend Gwynedd?
I love the school environment - it really feels like a sisterhood. From locker buddies to PAL (Peer Advisory League), I've loved getting to know all of the girls and become friends with people in almost every grade. I also feel that we have very strong academic programs, which was one of my main reasons for choosing Gwynedd.
Do you have any tips for 6th and 7th graders about the transition to high school and the application process? Make sure to study for the HSPT and Entrance Exams! Also don't be afraid to ask questions at the open house and visitation days - everyone is here to help! |

What is your favorite subject?
My favorite subject is probably math or world cultures. I find biology super interesting, but I also like the satisfaction of getting hard math problems correct and the eureka moment when I finally understand a topic. What is your favorite part of being a student at Gwynedd?
I love playing volleyball for Gwynedd. When I'm on the court it feels like an escape from everything else going on, whether I had a bad day or have an important test coming up, everything else melts away when I'm playing. I also really like Gwynedd’s Monarchs In Motion schedule. Nothing feels repetitive so it's much easier to stay attentive in class whereas with a "normal" schedule it can begin to feel like you're doing the same thing every day. |
